ESNNA CODE AND VIAJES PERU TRIPS – ACTIONS

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism has created the policy against sexual exploitation of girls, boys and adolescents (ESNNA).

The ESNNA code and VIAJES PERU TRIPS have an agreement on joint actions to prevent and eradicate this Problem.

THE ESNNA PROGRAM AND OUR COMMITMENT: The policy program for the social development and protection of vulnerable populations, indigenous and native communities is a positive and broad initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur).

This has the objective of raising awareness and training all sectors in our country. The objective is to prevent and ultimately eliminate the sexual exploitation of minors.

Our Company has recently obtained the CALTUR and Mincetur Certifications, VIAJES PERU TRIPS is aligned with the most demanding government regulations for the optimal quality of our tourist services. The ESNNA program requests adherence to a Code of Conduct, which is signed with Mincetur, and the company is required to disclose its standards and objectives for this initiative. Unfortunately, in Peru trafficking of minors is a critical problem, however, it is being fought. AT VIAJES PERU TRIPS we have a logistics staff (guides, cooks, drivers, etc.) who are already duly trained to contribute with the Code of Conduct to tourists, whether national or foreign, it is strictly prohibited to offer or access any request regarding to sexual tourism with children or adolescents, for ethical and legal reasons. We act together with our strategic partners (hotels, restaurants, and all staff who are immersed in the field of work) so that the objectives and commitments to the ESNNA program are met in all sectors and stages of tourism services that we provide.
