Itinerary

DAY 1: CUSCO-SACRED VALLEY-AGUAS CALIENTES (MACHU PICCHU TOWN)

We pick you up in the morning at your hotel in Cusco, the time of your pick up will depend on the location of your hotel, then we will start the tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the first where we will stop is the viewpoint of Pisac, from this place you will be able to appreciate the landscape of the great sacred valley, then we will visit the town of PISAC characterized by its handicraft market and its archaeological park (Intiwatana).
At noon, we will enjoy our lunch in Urubamba, then visit the archaeological site of the Ollantaytambo in a guided tour, where you will appreciate the best of a living Inca city.
Finally, our team will leave you at the Ollantaytambo station, where we will board the tourist train and in approximately 1h: 45min enjoying the landscape of the jungle above, you will arrive to the town of Aguas Calientes (also called Machu Picchu town), is the closest place to the sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Our staff will be waiting to take you to your hotel, where the local guide will come to visit you to make the arrangements for the next day.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES- MACHU PICCHU- CUSCO

At the agreed time and according to the schedule of your tickets you should go to the bus station and after 30 minutes of travel you will be at the entrance to Machu Picchu, there the guide will be waiting for you and after joining the group we will start the guided tour of 2 hours walking through the most important places of the Inca citadel, then you will have time to visit Machu Picchu on your own.
Then, you have to board the bus again heading to Aguas Calientes, and finally you have to take the train to return to the Ollantaytambo station where your mobility awaits you to return to Cusco to finish the tour at your hotel.

Recommendations

This tour is not recommended for people with mobility problems or in a wheelchair.
To make your reservation, some personal data of all visitors are required such as: full names, dates of birth, nationality, document number, etc. This data is protected by Peruvian's laws and are totally necessary.
Train tickets and Machu Picchu tickets are organized according to availability.
You can only be in the citadel of Machu Picchu 4 hours.

What to bring

Personal documents, your passport or original identity card in very important to bring.
A light backpack to carry your water bottle, a rain coat and other things you may need, do not forget clothes for 02 days of travel, you have to bring hiking shoes, cap or hat, as well as sunscreen, mosquito repellent, sunglasses.
It is advisable to bring some local money, some establishments do not receive credit cards.
You cannot bring: Pets, hiking poles, food, drones, selfie sticks, suitcases or large bags and umbrellas.
