On the way to the sacred valley there is a small town lost in time, known for its colonial gates, then an Inca “laboratory” to adapt crop plants to the cold of the Andes and an old salt mine still exploited by the locals. Itinerary

At 8 in the morning our tour begins, we will pick you up at your hotel so you can board the bus and join the group with the guide. Then we will make a trip of 1 hour until we reach Maras, a small town with its colonial doors and its narrow streets that will tell us a little about the history of colonial Peru.
Our next stopping point is the archaeological site of Moray, one of the main attractions of the Sacred Valley, there are enigmatic Inca terraces in a circular shape, its function is still under discussion, but the most accurate theory would be that it was an ancient crop laboratory to adapt plants from warm areas to cold areas, the perfection or the area is amazing.
The last point of visit will be the place called as the Salineras, which are a salt mine. They are natural formations and salt wells created for the exploitation of this essential mineral, very important in the diet of the people of Cusco, the view is impressive, it is said that there are more than 3000 salt pools.
Then we will board the bus to make a trip of 1:30 approx. towards the city of Cusco where is the end of our tour.
