Weather in Machu Picchu.
The climate of Machu Picchu is quite variable and changing typical of the jungle, generally temperate and wet, there are 2 relatively marked seasons, the rainy season between October and March, being January and February the rainiest and most cloudy, and the dry season between April and September which is when there is less chance of rain or cloudiness being the clearest and driest months June and July, for this reason are the months with the most tourists and higher costs of services (high season).

By rule of the Peruvian government the entrance tickets to Machu Picchu can’t be cancelled or modified, in the case you wish to cancel the tour completely can only be refunded the money used for the purchase of train or bus tickets applying a penalty of 15%, the money used in tickets to Machu Picchu can’t be refunded.

The Sacred Valley of the Incas includes different locations such as Pisac, Taray, Calca, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo and Chinchero, the first is located 40 km west of the city of Cusco.
The citadel of Machu Picchu is located at 2430 m.a.s.l. to the northwest of Cusco.
This tour can be done all year, it is always open to the public, but the season from April to November, which is the dry season, is the most recommended.
The climate in the Valley of the Incas and Machu Picchu is warm and temperate, the temperature ranges from 20°C (68°F) to 25°C (77°F) at daytime and at night it can drop according to the area down to 4°C (39°F) approximately, with fluvial rainfall between November and April.
